Chocolate Dipped Fruit Bouquet

Surprise Mum with a delectable fruit bouquet made with Lindt Dessert chocolate for Mother’s Day.

  • 180g Lindt DESSERT Premium Dark Baking chocolate, melted*
  • 2each Punnets strawberries
  • 2-3each Pineapple slices
  • 1each Melon wedge
  • To decorate – toasted coconut flakes, chopped pistachios, strawberry crisp powder*
  • To assemble 15-20  toothpicks
  • 1 small orange to be used as a base

Melted chocolate has cooled, start dipping the strawberries into chocolate.

Dipped strawberries with strawberry powder*, pistachio and coconut.

Some in chocolate without topping for variety.

In the fridge to fully set for 10-15 minutes.

Off the green of the strawberries before assembling.

The flowers**

Place orange or grapefruit into a tea cup.

If you would like to hide the orange, brush with little of the remaining chocolate.

Slightly upward facing (this will prevent the berries from falling off)

Attach a Strawberry.

And mix the toppings to create a stunning and delicious bouquet.

The fine strawberry powder, finely grate some freeze dried strawberries with microplane.

The flower, using a melon baller, scoop 2-3 balls from the melon wedge.

A flower cookie cutter, cut flower shapes from the slices of pineapple and top with a melon ball in the centre.

 

TIP: If pineapple is not available, watermelon makes a good replacement.
